You may have seen that the Department of Health and the HSE, in collaboration with key cross-Government and cross-sectoral partners, have developed a mental wellbeing campaign aimed at offering support and resources to help deal with the stress, anxiety and isolation currently experienced by many people during this time which was launched on Saturday.

The ‘Together’ campaign is hosted on https://www.gov.ie/en/campaigns/together/?referrer=/together/ points people to the HSE’s https://www2.hse.ie/mental-health/ supports and resources which include many online and telephone services, as well as providing tips and advice from cross-Government and Healthy Ireland partners on topics such as physical activity, parenting, coping with daily routines, supporting the ‘cocooned’ and getting involved in the community solidarity efforts.

HSE, Health & Wellbeing are offering a Stress Control Online programme, commencing 13th April 2020, via https://scanner.topsec.com/?d=76&u=Stresscontrol.org&t=12e5a7f9924dad1d0bcf30637154e0554a543645sscontrol.org. This 3 week programme is free of charge to the public and delivered by Dr. Jim White, Consultant Clinical Psychologist, Stress Control Ltd. It has never been more important for the public to have evidenced based supports from a trusted source, to help them manage and deal with the range of emotions individuals and families are experiencing at the moment.
